About
Foundation and History
Welcome, and thank you for being interested in us enough to click to this page at all! Let me fill you in.
Left Mouse Button was born from the ashes of a previous gaming related website run by myself and Mr William Main. Instead of simply letting our blossoming partnership go to waste we teamed up with fellow aspiring writer and ex-contributor to the old site, Joshua Yau, and began to work on plans for our new dominion.
We are not a news site. We do not aim to simply regurgitate the same news that plenty of other much larger scale, better funded and more established sites have already posted. Such a thing is a pointless effort. Nor are we strictly a site for reviews on the latest big budget titles. Big budget games require big fat wallets to keep up with and due to a our small starting staff and poor empty student bank accounts not all of the latest releases will be passing through our doors.
So what are we? Exactly what it says on the front, we’re three men in a blog. Armed with only our views about the world and our laptops we write what we want, when we want. We’ll delve into the past, look to the future and focus on the present. We all love videogames and we all love writing about them as intelligently as we can. So with any luck you’ll want to stick around; not because of our all access exclusive content, but because of our insightful opinions, cutting wit, charmingness and unparalleled modesty. So stay a while and enjoy!
